The Nurse Life Care Plan is the collection and analysis of comprehensive client-specific data in the preparation of a dynamic document. This document provides an organized, concise plan that estimates for reasonable and necessary current and future needs with the associated costs and frequencies of goods and services.

A Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside is a financial agreement that allocations a portion of the workers’ compensation settlement to pay for future medical services related to the workers’ compensation injury, illness, or disease. These funds must be depleted before Medicare will pay for services related to the workers’ compensation injury, illness, or disease.  The MSA is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Ms. Erin OConnell is a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner who also has experience with Medicare Set Aside, Case Management and Legal Nurse Consulting.

Erin has extensive experience and specialization with Spinal Cord Injuries, Surgical patient care, Cardiothoracic patient care which gives her extensive knowledge in managing care for both catastrophic and non-catastrophic injuries.

Erin holds a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree and Clinical Nurse Leadership Certificate, Sigma Theta Tau.

Erin is the lead Nurse Life Care Planner at OConnell and Associates as well as the 2019 President of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners.
