There are a number of conditions that can contribute to sleep apnea, as well as symptoms, such as grinding teeth, loud snoring, and frequent headaches. If you have frequent headaches and pain in the jaw, they can be caused by your spine being misaligned. When you sleep wrong and cause misalignment, it can block your ability to breathe normally. This has traditionally been treated with CPAP machines to help people sleep better. The Lift Clinic has been looking for a better way of treating the problem, resulting in the Transdermal Atlas Positioning (TAP) procedure. The device provides imaging that determines where the problem is so that it can be corrected. Currently the technology is being tested, but results from patients who have participated have reported results after only a few minutes of undergoing the procedure. It is still too early to know how effective it will be, though the initial results are promising.
