As healthcare continues to evolve, case managers are uniquely positioned to shape what comes next. The 2026 CMSA Annual Conference & Expo, taking place June 16–19, 2026, in Las Vegas, is designed with that responsibility—and opportunity—in mind. Guided by the theme Building Tomorrow Through Case Management Excellence, the conference will bring together case managers from across the continuum of care to explore innovation, strengthen practice, and connect as a profession.

Building tomorrow also means investing in the skills that support long-term professional impact. CMSA offers three pre-conference workshops on Tuesday, June 16, each designed to strengthen a different aspect of professional excellence:
- Writer’s Workshop: “From Inspiration to Publication: Write Your Worth”
Led by the chairs of the CMSA Today Editorial Board, this workshop equips attendees to translate experience into credible, career-advancing publications. - Innovation Workshop: “Shared Stories, New Ideas: Empathy Mapping to Build Insight, Compassion and Change in Case Management”
Facilitated by opening keynote speaker, Rhonda Manns, this interactive session explores collaborative problem-solving and systems thinking. - Resume Writing Workshop: “Elevate Your Resume. Elevate Your Career”
Presented by Marianne DiMola, CEO of GCM, this workshop focuses on positioning case managers for growth in an evolving workforce.
Together, these workshops reflect CMSA’s belief that professional excellence is strengthened through both skill-building and connection. #CMSA2026 places a renewed emphasis on networking and shared experience, beginning with the Grand Opening Reception on Tuesday evening, June 16, and continuing throughout the week as case managers come together to learn from one another and build the future of the profession.
The main conference kicks off strong on Wednesday, June 17, with keynote speaker Rhonda Manns, presenting “Beyond Limits: Unlocking an Innovative Mindset.” Her session challenges attendees to view innovation not as a buzzword, but as a practical, human-centered approach rooted in empathy, ethics, and design thinking—tools essential for building sustainable solutions in today’s complex healthcare environment.
Throughout the conference, attendees will engage in immersive education and meaningful peer connection designed to support learning, reflection, and collaboration. Expanded concurrent sessions, interactive formats, and built-in networking moments allow case managers to exchange ideas, share challenges, and learn from colleagues across settings and specialties—reinforcing the collective expertise that drives excellence in practice.
The Expo Hall, featuring 100+ industry vendors, returns after selling out last year, offering opportunities to explore new resources, exchange ideas, and build partnerships that support innovation in practice.
On Friday, June 19, attendees will close the conference with Terry Foster’s keynote, “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Humor in Healthcare.” Through shared stories and laughter, Terry highlights how humor supports resilience and connection—an often-overlooked but vital component of excellence in case management.
The conference will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, a location that blends convenience, value, and opportunity for connection. CMSA has secured discounted guest room rates beginning at $178++ per night, available through May 22, 2026, or until the room block is full. Set on the Las Vegas Strip, Mandalay Bay provides a welcoming environment for learning, networking, and renewal.
The 2026 CMSA Annual Conference & Expo is an invitation to reflect on where the profession is headed—and to actively shape that future. Through education, connection, and shared purpose, CMSA looks forward to building tomorrow through case management excellence, together.
